Skyrim Dawnguard helmet replica completed

Hey everyone, I wanted to show off my newly completed Dawnguard helmet from Skyrim. I'm building the full costume for DragonCon, but I completed this piece a few days back and wanted to take some glamor shots. It started off as a custom, very rudimentary 3D model built through the Pepakura process, and then sculpted over in Bondo with some laser cut details. I made a mold with some Rebound 25 and cast this helmet in Smooth Cast 65D. It was then painted with some Rustoleum rattle cans and acrylic washes, with a little bit of Rub N Buff for detailing. It's made wearable by the addition of a hard hat liner on the interior. Not "period accurate" for a display piece, but more comfortable and adjustable for long-term con usage.

All my WIP photos can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/2storyprops/sets/72157640552352423/

And here's some glamor shots! Let me know what you think!

That looks spot on. And yes, does look robust enough to last long term use. Phenomenal job and excellent work.
