Sky High Car Seat

I wish I could help you with some behind the scenes shots but I don't think I ever took any photos of the seats. I remember there were LOTS of them and they were real cheapy looking up close. And I do know a few were -- uh... "baby ruined". LOL. I wanted one but like so many things from the set I never got it. I only managed to nab two or three items after all was said and done - and that was only by way of friends.

and heres a very scruffy and up for 37hours straight me with the beautiful Mary Elizabeth on set - I think this was while they were filming the "party"

I wish I could take credit for those Kids in the Hall lines but they came in with their own bag of tricks and bumped up the funny - "Remember when we used to use real citizens?" Bruce Campbell did the same during the sidekick placement tests - adding in his responses to the kids. It's always nice to hear that people enjoyed it - I'm humbled by it. And just in case you can't tell when you watch it everyone in this movie was having a blast working on it. Everyday was something new.

Yeah - I didn't just work on it, I created it. I took it to Disney as a spec that I wanted to set up as a TV series but they wanted a movie instead. I still would love to pull a Buffy and buy the rights back one day and redo it as a tv series - but time will tell.

I just found this thread. Sky High was my favorite film as kid, and it's still high on my list of favorite films. I had no idea that Jet Beetle created one of the most influential aspects of my early childhood, and quite honestly is one of the reasons I got into prop-making (I always wanted to make the Pacifier). I also had no idea they passed away, and I'm devastated.

Paul was a character. I'd really like to find his pre Disney script for Sky High. When it was still classic super heros by name, and the one liners from the Invisible Kid. He had another script making the rounds after Sky High if my memery is correct called Instant Karma. About a cat burglar that is reincarnated, as various animals. There used to be weekly Sunset Sunday parties at Sean Gunns house where all the James Gunn crew would hang out. This was before Marvel. I remember talking with James about films he wanted to do, missed out on, passed on... And Instant Karma was one he wanted to do but the studio wanted Ben Stiller as the lead. I recall Paul writing it with the Rock in mind, again before the Rock became an A lister.

Sky High 2 I understand was in the pipeline but of course Paul passed so that siezed. I've heard rumors of a Disney+ series for awhile now. Just rumors.
