Size of Jedi Holocron? Anyone know?

How many sides does the Sith Holocron have? I seem to remember there being a debate whether it was 4 sided (a pyramid), or having just 3 upright faces (more of a tetrahedron). I thought it looked 4 sided, if I remember.

Obi-Bob

The one they created for the Visual Dictionary has 3 "sides" and no bottom. (The paper was still on the plexi on the inside, as it wasn't going to be photoed)

The ones I have made for the group here have 3 sides AND a bottom (so I could put electronics and a battery in there).

Vegas Vader...

If you watch the clone wars tv series you will see the size of one jedi holocron in the episode entitle holocron heist.

The 4'-5" range sounds right to me. I like the image Chris Trevas did in Jedi vs Sith

Since holocrons are recording devices for jedi and sith it's just to think 'how big is enough to be detailed yet small enough so it's easy to take with'.
To me 4" x 4" for square holocron sounds about right. That's what I'd do anyways.

I was wondering what I could do as a props making project...I've recently been exposed to the Force (and watched a fan film by some friends). So I thought I'd make a Jedi or Sith holocron...this post helped, though I was initially surprised by the 10 inches thing. Hehe. Thanks
