Sith Trooper (Imperial Soldier) build COMPLETED!

I've decided to start up a Sith Trooper build for DragonCon this year. I'm doing it a bit different this year from past years and I'm doing it live on Twitch, but figured I would keep my normal record of progress here as usual for my builds.



I've started by sculpting the Helmet. I'm probably about halfway done with the sculpt. I'll be molding and casting it in Smoothcast 300 soon.

Yeah, it has a unique look. Hadn't thought of it, but does feel a bit Fallouty (sp?) lol

Here is the progress tonight. Straightened a bunch of stuff, did some more detailing. Pretty much working from the bottom up. Still got a lot more to do, but it's getting there!



Hummm, the pics make it look a lot skinnier than it is, it's much wider in person. must be the phone camera. /shrug

More ore cleanup work. Prepped the underside for molding. Just need to smooth then Clean up the sharp edges. Should mold next weeken

Still got a lot of sanding and such to do, but it's on its way!

Helmet is finished except the Cogs, just waiting on those.

Realy nice It tht EVA? Or you used other meterial for armor?

Yeah it's EVA foam except for the bucket.

I'm curius how is visibility in that helmet? I mysel have Jango and RC helmets and visibility in them is realy good compared to Stormtrooper for example. But thru that samall visior it must be tough.

It's not to bad actually, I even have some peripheral vision in it due to the shape of the visor. I've certainly worn worse.
