Sith Stalker Pepakura Helmet build

Hi Guys,

I have decided to get back into one of my old builds and actually finish it this time...
I started a second helmet as I found a Pepakura file that was taken from the original 3D character design files and is a 1 to 1 match in every detail.

I have added a few pictures of the progress of the build.

After hours of cutting out all the pieces (about 3 - 4 hours) I got stuck into gluing it all together, but before i finished gluing the bottom sections I had to check that it fit my head here are some shots of the test fit.

Once that was done, I gave it 4 coats of fiberglass resin.... 5 hours later it was dry.

As you can see, compared to the original one I started on the left there was quite a difference in size and shape although I did quite like the shap edges on the face of the original.

Next step was to start laying the fiberglass down, this was a sticky process and due to that no photos were taken while I was doing this.

Then I got stuck into using the plasti bond, I used the same method as I did for the Bikerscout and Boba Fett buckets (nice thin layers) so this process is pretty quick if you keep the layers thin.

So the long weekend came to an end and this is where I am up to at the moment.

Got a little side tracked last night and started stripping the Bikerscout bucket so I can fix some chips and cracks and redo the snout details.
so this is where I am at, hope to find some time tonight to finish off the ear details and get the visor cut out.

Well I built up the courage this afternoon to cut the helmet into sections..
