So i broke down and bought an resin ESB kit. It was just an "ok" kit and so will be using it as my "stunt" blaster. But I wanted to do something COOL with the optics since it wasn't all that accurate. I decided to make a scope reticle. Since I have seen many others do this, I too some designs I found here and remade them into optics.
starting with the painted scope
I made these reticles using scope sights and screen caps. Since It was for the DL44, I tried to get the best shootouts.
Then I took some bubble magnets for the refrigerator and used the plastic bubbles as lens substitutes
Then I used adhesive to secure the photo paper to the lens
Then i scored out the scope and pressure fit the optic so I can switch them out
Viola! Shooting at Vader during the Bespin dinner ambush!
