Ok 1st day off, few hrs to spare = sculpting.
the under leather skirt thing armour is done, i took a few liberties but i think it is fine, the skins carry on up under where the torso skin will come to.
The groin armour i will be sculpting seperately, along with the thigh armour, this will enable me to match the paint to the other latex armour peices and also use the leg skin for any future suits i do etc. also i can put a velcro flap at the groin for if i need to take a leak etc.
The muscles look alittle funky at the moment, but they have just been fleshed out to the rough shape, and the detailing will knock the big grooves right back.
hopefully be back on these next week when i am on night shifts again.

I did a few test patterns on the leg yesterday to see if i could tweak it to my own look, but i was not happy with them, so i may just revert to the normal circular type scales on the p1, diamond ish scales although cool are not what the skin looked like.

Well after much thinking ( probably too much ) i decided to stay pretty much true to the original with the textures shape, ie circular.
anyway, not much but here is the left leg after the heavy run of details, i will be adding some finer details when i get a chance, then i will move onto the right leg.

looking good lee... dump question.. for the large detail are you removing clay or adding lumps..
Wow, 4 months go by quick huh.
Well my right hand has been lifecast and the sculpt fleshed out. no point in posting pics at present.
I also decided to do a single LATEX pull of my torso, With the mould being resin, i do not have to worry about amonia getting absorbed into it, and then hindering my final silicone pull, ( i will just give it a good scrub with hot soapy water after the latex skin is removed ).i figured it would be a good idea to do a latex pull, for a rough idea how the skin will fit me, i am expecting it to be "slightly" too small ( actually hoping for this ) due to the latex shrinking, as i tried to sculpt it as close to my dimensions as possible whilst still keeping some similarity to a preds torso.
It has had 3 layers and surprisingly is drying very well even in the UK weather, i will be giving it one more layer next week, then i will bolt it together at the weekend and do the seems before i go on holiday, this way i will not be tempted to remove it early from the mould when it could be still wet in places.

hi lee great work there fella! i just love the talent on here! question, have you gone for the seperate armour for a reason!? why didnt you sculpt the armour straight on to the sculpt when you started out? just wondered! and by the way when r u going to show off your great work at a uk predator troop? im sure we would all love to see you fella! there is so many guys with suits ect,showing them off in the backyard in the uk where they can get on a troop and feel like a star for a day!!lol well said enough hope to see u one day!!
