Silicone Freddy mask

Hi all,

i recently finished a project i wanted to do for ages, a silicne freddy mask based of the makeup in the second film.

I had a friend come over tonight and model it fo rme with a couple of props and we took alittle video too for laughs.

love to get some feedback on this

Got your freddy bust and it's awesome!!!

I always liked the 2nd freddy best because I think he had the meanest, scariest and ugliest face there in the whole series but...I always read that the 2nd is the most unwanted one by the fans.


It would be interesting to see a silicon prosthetic freddy...

Did you soften the platsil with deadener?

That is fantastic mate. A really really great likeness....Got any pics of the process of making it? Always interested to see how it all comes together in the finished product.

That's pretty thin! It's great how expressive you're able to be through the mask - it's almost like makeup! You keep outdoing yourself!

thanks for the great comments guys.

i do currently use platsil with deadener but its a real pain to get the percentage just right. the more deadener you add, the weaker the tear strengh is plus I have to stipple in a layer of silicne first as the deadened silicone will remain tacky at anything over 40%
