Hi all.

as some of you have seen, i recently sculpted a freddy bust based on the makeup from the 4th film.

I wante to make i silicone bust for display so as i got my materials out, i thought i might try making a mask out of it. I thought that if it didnt work i could always use it for a test paint.

here are the pics

Holy Crap! That looks awesome! You really nailed the look on this piece. Great Job.

Rich, that's fantastic! Since it protrudes a bit from the inside of your eye, might it make sense to cut out the "eye socket" area, and use makeup to blend the area around the eye to the mask?

I'd really love it if you offered these... Great work!

thanks guys.

Doug, i agree about the eye holes, if i sculpted this specifically for a mask, id have countersunk the core so the eye holes sat flush around the eyes, what i can do for a better effect is glue it around the eyes and blend with make up.

it moves really well, im away next week but ill make a video the week after

Same here!

You've captured his look perfectly, especially when seen from the side
and the front with your head tilted down a bit.

Great stuff.

If there is 'ever' going to be a run of masks, I sure am interested.

sorry guys, this one is a one off.

I will be doing a Vs freddy next month which will be a silicone mask

Now that's what I'm talking about ! Hearing about it on the masks forums for a while and to finally see the finished product ... awesome job guys ! I'm interested in the VS mask when it's done !

That looks great! I've been seeing more and more silicone masks lately. Is it easier or harder than foam latex and do you have to bake it any? I've played with latex but never silicone but I DO like the results to learn how. Any tips?
