I spent the summer building this in time to get him (nearly) finished in time for a Sci Fi show at a museum. As is so often the case, I ran out of time to get everything complete but he was 'near enough' for me to feel okay having him on display. The orange paint all needs properly over-painting and weathering as there are a range of slightly different colours on the actual drone. There are also some small detail pieces missing; the arm cover, a vent, some parts in the face panel etc. I also only had time to install one of the three motors I had planned. His toe taps at random intervals but he doesn't yet move his mouth or ear flaps. A bad batch of silcone also meant that I had to use hastily thrown together parts on the feet instead of sculpted resin casts. With the immediate deadline out of the way though, I can tackle all those bits at my leisure - just as soon as I get some spare time!
There's a build thread for him here
