You are showing starving dogs a drawing of a bone. :lol
Totally!
You are showing starving dogs a drawing of a bone. :lol
If you guys are expecting me to show full resolution pictures from every angle with a ruler for size reference you are in for a big disappointment.
I think whatever is shown should be appreciated. Plus there were measurements already given in the auction. Let the guy enjoy his prop for a few days before making an exact replica of it... :lol
Well, everyone is welcome to pictures of my Arc Gun.

wow, what a great gun that is
i had planned to bid on that thing and held off, i knew i was gonna be kicking myself...:lol
i just felt in my nuggets that this movie was gonna be killer
did you happen to ask WETA if they are planning a run of these things?
thanks!
brad
I REALLY hope WETA makes replicas of these. I mean, if they can do their crazy original rayguns, they can make a few hundred of theselove:love
My Profound Apologies to the Host of THIS Post!!! It wasn't my intention to start a crap-storm of decent. I simply was hoping to Enjoy seeing more pics & I teased a little tougher that I should've. (alas, we don't know each other)
The use of the well-understood term "Showoff" (in the Title) gave me a chance to pull the leg of a person who is enjoying a well Paid-For & justly Earned experience. He is Fortunate to have a one-off of something that we ALL want to see Better!
Unfortunately (& Fortunately) - this arena (RPF) also has a hyper-strong twin-identity (& let's Not fool ourselves), it's a Market-Place! The item we're talking about has Value, well beyond G-man's (aKa: Griefboy) Possession - talented prop-smiths & their clients are already salivating. :love
So I fully understand & appreciate Griefboy's hesitation & reserve as-to showing every detail of his New Love.
Again, my Apologies!!! Mikel / Modeleer
Now's the time for all of us, even me, to give the man some breathing room & well deserved cudos.
Congrats & Enjoy!!!
Another RPFer noted in the other Arc Gun thread that a lot of the parts seem to be scavenged off a single-cylinder motorcycle engine (choke plate, etc.) Now that you've got the item in your possession, is there any validity to that line of thinking?
