Hey all, this is not strictly film related but I have a exhibition coming up over the Halloween period. I've been working towards getting everything ready for a good few months now. Being a fan of the years scariest holiday it's been heaps of fun but also a whole heap of work. I wondered to myself if anyone here might be interested in the work but then, knowing the work you all do, it got me thinking, I wonder how many of you go to insane lengths to celebrate all things spooky? If you have any Halloween projects on the go or have done, please show them here. I'm super keen to see them...

To get the ball rolling, here is the first I finished up recently, my Dybbuk box

Here is the second ready to go, a Pygmy Vampire faux taxidermy

...and the last I have finished at the moment, a Travelers Defense Kit

I have a few more in different stages of completion and at this stage I'm not really sure how many will be ready but for now and in antisipation of the big day, do you have any spookiness on the work beach?

I am making a Indiana Jones cosplay and I have everything except for the whip, the gun holster and the whip-belt thingy. I kind of look like Harrison Ford mixed with Mark Hamhill so its pretty to cosplay in the Star Wars universe. Right now though I am making the ANH Anakin Skywalker/Luke lightsaber and learning how to sew by using youtube. The Tatooine garb is pretty freaking hard to make until you realize that its almost exactly like karate clothes but beige. I will show some pictures soon.

Not exactly spooky there thegnome hahaha but it does sounds good. Yes you're right about the Tatooine costumes. Traditional Japanese clothing turns up in so much scifi, I love that!
