Show-off: Starship Trooper collection

I was just packing up some things for DragonCon and thought I would share some misc pics of our (my wife and I) Starship Trooper collection. I'd say this is about 75% of our collection and 90% of the items are screen used/production made.

These pics are taken in our basement/TV room (it's not cool enough to be a home theater) which is kind of dark, so sorry if the pics are not better. Oh and our whole basement doesn't have that low of a ceiling :lol just one end, where there are some air ducts.

enjoy...

That is a sweet collection... if I weren't so bogged down with my Star Wars costuming - and having Cobra soldier, Stargate and BSG costumes on my wishlist - I'd love to do a Starship Troopers costume.

Rico was the man!

6" Roger Young, cast directly from one of the screen used models... I *think* these were used for the shots of the space station, where all the ships are docked.

And here it is next to one of the 18" Roger Youngs (built by Randy Cooper)

These are also cast (by me) off of a screen used 6" Tac Fighter.

The very small Tac Fighters in my display case *are* screen used and about 2" across... I'll have to take some pics of them though.

Wow:eek An amazing SST collection, very jealous! Really like the way its laid out and presented

Nice collection and cool presentation.
SST prop hardware is very realistic and complete looking,
until its put in the context of the movie.
(Men with small arms and NO mechanized support take on armored monster bugs.)
All the SST props look like they could have been surplussed from a real conflict,
especially the way it looks like you display them.

Thumbs Up,
Mike
