I personally ordered two shields through their Etsy site and their direct site and recieced one of them after a year and a few reminder emails. It’s been at least another year and still no second shield. I’ve reached out over Etsy, email, and Instagram and they no longer reply

Sad to report that as of July 1, 2024 I have still never received my shield despite having several exchanges with Casey on Instagram and via text. He was very nice and said he would look into it but the shield has never shipped and its never been resolved. I've been super patience but three years of waiting is beyond excessive. I've never spoken with Misty unfortinately. I'm wondering if I might need to track them down at a con in person. I used to work for Reedpop so I could call some people to see if others are having the same issues that I am. I appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks!

Sorry to hear that, I haven't received mine as well. Casey emailed me back a couple of months back responding to an email I sent to Misty. He said that my order was ready to ship out on April 27, 2024. I sent a couple of follow-up emails to confirm my address and just texted the number he provided in the email today. But I am still waiting..... we shall see. Hopefully we both get ours soon.

I think if Casey was "very nice" you would have had your shield long ago. He SOUNDS nice. But his word means nothing.

I just checked, and it seems like their Etsy store is no longer there.
I'd contact the credit card company and see if you can cancel your order.

I've texted and e-mailed Casey and the shield labs account multiple times as recently as today and haven't gotten any responses. I placed my order back on September 3, 2021 and have never received it. I used to work with Reedpop and know a lot of convention owners. I'm going to start reaching out to them to tell them to be wary of letting Shield Labs exhibit at any of their shows since it definitely seems like it isn't just me that hasn't received my shield after paying in full and waiting for three years so far. Buyers should beware! I might have to see if they are exhibiting anywhere and show up to press the issue in person.

I wonder now, since I'm uncovering more clients they have done this too and this type of unfaithful practices, that I will speak to a lawyer. The more I reflect back on all my emails attempts and their responses telling me all they needed was to confirm my address to ship out cause my shield was ready..then ghosting me for months after sending it..it makes me sad and angry.

His last IG post was from 6 weeks ago promoting an autographed shield for auction.

Since legal fees are $$$, I suggest you contact your credit card companies asap and let them handle it. They'll have a better chance at solving this while his sites are still up (and open for business).

Ive been a customer of Caseys for years. I saw these and reached out to him. Hes assured me that he will reach out to any and all of you awaiting your order. He has my number saved as we have done business for so long, and he says he may be missing messages from unsaved numbers. Update: so casey texted on august 25th telling me his inbox was filled then added my number to his contacts, then proceeded to tell me he was going to send my shield out august 30th..... Then radio silence.
