Limited Run Shawshank Redemption - His Judgement Cometh cross stitch project

Ohh and BTW... I can't believe Warden Norton's wife is able to still crank out such quality work. She's gotta be in her 80's-90's by now ;)

Serious kudos to the cross stitch artist on this...

Hey bud! Tried to reply to your PM and got the dreaded:

  • luke moonwalker has exceeded their stored messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.

;)

So I picked this up from the post office yesterday and haven't been able to reply until now because I was knocked out by how amazing it is! The fact this is all done by hand is incredible. SS's cross stitch artist is truly that. This thing is STUNNING and the level of work and accuracy in each stitch is apparent. If anyone is on the fence or questioning this one... Get it. Completely worth the wait and so excited to add it to my meager Shawshank collection. Goes great with my screen worn Heywood shirt (just for size comparison of course) ;)

Thanks for the awesome review, Luke! :)

The most challenging part of the project so far has definitely been drawing up the pattern. I went stitch by stitch so that I could get every single thread count correct, and so I'm really glad that you guys are finally getting to see this up close.

Hello!! It is possible to buy this pattern? I'm willing to do it myself. Big fan of the movie and big fan of cross stitch.
Thanks in advance.

I would be extremely pleased to purchase one! The craftsmanship looks exquisite. The only challenge might be to get a frame that looks authentic to the original, but hey, I can at least to that part. Nice job in replicating the original in your pattern, BTW. I'm relatively new to the forum so let me know how I might arrange payment. Thanks so much!
