Shaak Ti . . . need a lightsaber

This is Shaak Ti, I made this a few years ago, but I need to take to the next level. Namely, she doesn't have a proper lightsaber.

I have a lightsaber that is made out of cardboard and foam but it is now falling apart and I would like one made out of metal. I have never made a lightsaber, I wouldn't know where to start. Help would be appreciated.

why don't you just buy? i think there are pretty good SW lightsabers out there. that is if you would like to invest. It even has a sound effect. I saw one here and it costs like 8k pesos.

I could but I'd rather make it myself.

Shaak Ti's lightsaber is the same type as Adi Gallia's, but her character came first, and thus that has set the name of this saber within the prop community. Therefore, I suggest that you search of "Adi Gallia" when looking to buy one, or just looking for info.

Nice hardware versions of this saber, and the "Aayla Secura" variation (shorter) have been built. There are several old threads where people have shown off their builds.
You could use washers for the emitter. I would ask TridCloudWalker if he has any emitter cones left.
