SDUK's Mr Freeze build

Thanks guys, much appreciated, hope I can give you something more exciting in the next few months :)

Original designs are radical!
So the inside of the chest is going to glow.
Will you have a light shining up into your face in the dome?

the under chest (the piece I have already made) will have EL wire running through it so yeah that will glow blue, then on the over chest/shoulder piece that will have darker blue LED strips on it.
The Helmet will be half plastic dome with a full foam armour round the back and sides, I plan on illuminating it big time from the inside using EL tape and also gonna fit in two blue LED computer fans for airating the helmet and also adding light effect so yeah, the helmet will be a big mass of neon blue lights haha :)

londen expo huh...i'll be going there to..hope i run into ya ^^ still have to decide wich cosplay's i'm gonna take with me LOL was thinking about Anakin Skywalker epi3 version and the 11th Doctor and maybe my Red Hood from Under The red hood....but i have to travel from the netherlands to the UK so...don't want to take to much haha nice progress btw ;)

I'll be watching this with interest! I haven't played the game but I have seen the artwork. I cant wait to see what you do with the EL wire. It will add something fierce to what you already have going on!

thanks guys, I am surprised at how many Freeze builds a springing up now lol.... glad to see the character gettin some love :)

If you're wanting the Arkham City style goggles you could probably tweak these a little and they'd be perfect!

Dark Matter Goggles - Black

I'm also working on a Mr. Freeze (New 52 version) and when I stumbled upon this as I searched for my own freeze goggles I had to show you!

Good Luck!

Thanks for the link KF, those goggles are sweet!!! but I would have to change out the lenses and I think remove the cushioning too, LOVE the frame bit though with the little nobbles on!! I have found a pair I am gonna get that are perfect now :)

Not made much progress yet as I've not had the funds to get materials, I did fabricate some shoulder pieces out of cardboard but I'm not gonna post pics until I have them foam covered and attached to the chest.... also managed to sketch what will ultimately be my final helmet/upper armour... can't wait to bring it all to life...

Just ordered some make up to do some tests for my Freeze look and ordered my goggles from the States so will have thrm in a cpl of weeks :)

cheers fellas.....
Chris HELL NO would I EVER go bald for a costume lol.... I wasn't even gonna do a bald cap but a few people in the Batman community I am part of where like you gotta do the bald head! so I figured for the sake of a couple of quid I may aswell give it a try..... and I actually really am glad I did coz I think once it's glued on properly with the goggles and the rest of the costume it will look epic :)

No dude, I am gutted I can't go to LSCC, everyone on my facebook keep bangin on about it in their statuses! wish I was, but just couldn't afford it with a few bdays, my anniversary and valentines day all on the back of Xmas, plus the only costumes I could've wore were my First Avenger Cap or my Ninja Turtle coz my Captain Britain (which I was planning to wear if I did go) helmet is still in a state of distress after the accident at Expo in October with it :( Hope you have a blast though mate.... it will be either May Expo or LFCC that I debut Freeze

Sucks dude! I'd have liked to see the Cap Britain one! I'm not previewing any of my new ones either by the sounds of it my buddy hasn't finished any of his and honestly my lantern isn't finished nor is my spawn so I'm going with the mortal kombat boys again by the looks of things will hopefully be May MCM for the newbies

You will get to see Captain Britain again in future, I love the costume and my helmet so it will be fixed up and brought out again at some point :)
Ah man that sucks about yours not being finished either... can't wait to see them in May if I make that one :)

Update:
I bought two extra large plant cloche from the garden center today, I'm gonna try 2 different ways to make the helmet, one by building up a base and back for the whole cloche and a second cutting the cloche up and just using an arched piece of it and making a foam surround and fitting the piece in... wish me luck lmao!

Nice makeup brah lookin' forward ta seein' ya progress keep up th' good work :p:cool:
