Saw a little article in todays Sun newspaper talking about the SDS armour. The link was to a site called firebox, where you can buy the suits from. Seem alot more expensive than through AA:

The AD mentions and shows that it's "Signed by Andrew Ainsworth"

It is nice armor...but man, I just could not justify the AA stuff being 3X more the $ than my AP kit...which I think looks just as good.

Brian's toys has an advance ad as well. I think it was retail plus a little extra. Strange that they don't attempt a scalp, they're known for being insane pricers.

But what does LFL say about this? Wasn't there some legal issues with these suits and helmets? I recall reading something about a lawsuit somewhere.

Does this mean they made up and it's ok to buy these? I like what I see, but is it worth the £?

Seriously thats quite an aggressive bit of advertising given the LFL Vs SDS case.

I agree there. I love the SDS suits but its simply too much money. You could get a nice Vader for the cost of an SDS suit.

LFL Vs SDS is one of the most popular "discussions" on RPF . But the costs seem to have gone up for the SDS suit. Perhaps there'e some extra bills to pay
