Also, they really need a bigger venue unfortunately. The con has grown throughout the years and it doesnt seem like the convention center can accommodate that many people.

Quite a number of Comic-Con regulars commented last year that Preview Night was the only really bad traffic days. The other days seem to be less than the past.
They also added a second badge pick up location down in Mission Valley with bus service to the convention center.
They try new stuff a lot. Not all of it works.

I picked up my badge last year inside one of the main convention halls. I waited two minutes. It was a breeze getting my badge. Inside the vendor hall was not that many people from opening to around 11:45 then it started getting packed. Some areas were so crowded that you could barely move to get around people. Kinda felt like Times Square on NeW Years
Also, another problem i see is too many people straggling for freebies. Sometimes the lines block of the flow of the crowd or people fight there way to get a piece of paper or plastic which results in some pushing...I saw some little kids get shoved by some older adults..

I think if they stopped with all the stupid exclusives and "freebies" in the main hall, it would free up a TON of space in the rows... They should move some of the big studio booths up under the sails on the top deck, LOTS of unused space there!
The off site tickets were a little crazy with the HUGE line inside the ball room, but much easier than waiting outside in an even LONGER line at the Con. That was the only thing I really liked about '10's Con.

I've never been. I would LOVE to go someday, but fear I wouldn't know anyone and would have to leave my family behind, the logistics of a wife and baby are a little too much. I had a hard time at a Deaf Expo in Las Vegas because of them (not resentful, just sayin'). Planning this far ahead is out of the question for me! :lol

I read somewhere that the 13% was sold at the 2010 Con, and that only a handful of tickets were actually sold before the system crashed.
