Happy that you guys are trying to see how this helmet is made
Here is how it was created
I bought a set of child size Stormtrooper kit a while back
I took the helmet
Cut it down so it looks like a gas mask
I want the mask to look more fem, also hunter like
The ear part is from that same kit too
The guy actually made a sized down FX suit... I can't find it any more. I think he re tooled for his kid and had some extras for sell
The inner mask ( as you can see the mask has 2 layers ) It is another cut off Rubie's child deluxe helmet

The mask was actually the longest one for me to come up with
It has too look good, sexy and Stormtrooper like

The worst part or me is how it can stay on her face with out a real mask ior headset.

So that's pretty much it for the mask

The rest of the costume, I try to make it so it is sexy, not bulky
So far mosr of the fem trooper, they use the regular FX armor, so it is bulkier

I'm pretty sure it's not a kid sized helmet. It looks like 4 separate plastic pieces. The front, two ears, and a piece that replaced where the frown would have been. I think that was chopped off and a custom piece was attached. She then brought the aerator housing closer in. At least, that's what it looks like to me.

After checking ebay for other matches, I can't find anything that matches the aerator indents, the vocoder greeb, or the ear bumps. Too bad we can't ask her.

Hi Drewid, some one back, I guess few yrs ago, made a scaled down size FX armor. I mean it was well made. When I saw that, I actually had the idea of modifying it for my wife as a female stromtrooper.
I used part of the kit for this costume
The helmet actually came just like a FX, in 5 or 6 pieces
So that's where the mask came from, cut and put together
I only have 1 chance to get it so it looks like that

Threw the pic onto Google Image Search, found her Facebook and did just that!
When I suggested you two join the RPF she told me you were already on here... And then saw your reply. :)

Very cool. I think the only FX helmet I've seen is one the TX buckets. Great job on the lines on the helmet as they turned out really well. How did you get it to stay on though?
