I absolutely LOVE that stormtrooper facemask idea. Thinking of stealing that for Star Wars Chick's next sandtrooper.
Here's a great article on the girls of Comic Con. I have to agree with a lot of what it says!

It only took 30 years for someone to figure that out.
Doh... just posted about this article in the costuming section.
I wish I knew what helmet she used for this. I looked at one of my helmets cast from an original and it is ridiculously huge on a female face.
I think it might be a custom sculpt. I can't find any match on the aerator indents on any of the well-known helmet kits. Maybe she used a pep file?
Why do I CONTINUE TO GET BLUE QUESTION MARKS OVER HALF THE PICTURES??? ARGH!!!
With some, yeah. That is correct. As I am seeing the "Flickr" logo.Because people are hotlinking to photos hosted elsewhere, and the owners of those photos are removing or renaming them.
I have to think it isn't a custom sculpt or at least she didn't sculpt it considering the way the side tubes pull away from the face, but you are right... I can't match it to anything either.

Was there ever a toy version of that helmet? A complete helmet would be pretty tight on her head.

I am 110% against what is being said in that article and this thread (the hot girls thread) is a testament to how lame that article is. Who cares WHY someone dresses in costume? Since when did we become so judgmental?
