At first i though, no i'm not going to reply to either of your pathetic comments. But i am. I and many other women costume their favourite character because they like the character and costume. I don't mind people taking photos of my art, yes its an art, and i take pride in trying to look as good as i can for that character.
What i find repulsive is men who try to get the up-skirt shots, the ass shots...not because they like the girl in the costume,or even the costume or character itself, but because they want to get their cheap thrills, probably because they cant get women any other way...except through the lingerie section of a catalogue. Your comments remind me of the guys who say ooh she deserved it she was dressed like a '*****', all because she wore a short skirt.

Men that have sexually assaulted/raped women and tried to justify it by saying they were asking for it because they were dressed like a lady of questionable morals or 'putting it about' simply because their skirt was very short or top cut too low are pure scum and should be locked up out of harms way.
Geeks that sneak a photograph of a girls bottom at a convention should be pitied. The comparison is a little harsh.
I'm sure the girls featured in this thread would be the first to admit that they are exhibitionists and go all out to court snappers and provoke discussion on forums such as this.
Photographing is harmless. Touching and harassing is going too far and shouldnt be tolerated but I got the sense that the girl who wrote the perv blog is just a bit of nut-bar to be honest and could equally have accused Con geeks of all being gay or sexually backward if they all totally ignored her.

I'm not defending the guys who snap photo's of bums/boobs/etc. but this is gonna happen regardless of whether you like it or not. Bitching about it really doesn't accomplish anything unless you want to vent.

The only 2 real options you have are ignore them and get on with life or stop dressing up as characters where their costume shows off their butts or cleavage.
