Here's a set of catwoman claws I finished based off the look of the hero props from Batman returns.
I tried to use all the original materials and brand names as possible.
These are all metal pieces, soldered together and painted for the movie accurate color.
I need to grind down the bolts just alittle ,that go off the side horizontally, but for now I'm really happy with them. Last picture is bare metal pieces before paint.

The detail is incredible, you really nailed it (pun half intended). I was wondering if you had a material list you'd be willing to share? I'm in the process of making my own set for a costume and there are a couple of bits that I'm not sure about what they are. Thanks and again, very impressive!

Excellent job !
Boy those bring back memories of late nights and weekends cranking out set after set during production. You captured them exactly. The color is pretty close as well but impossible to match exactly as I painted the originals with Opaquing Fluid which is an alcohol based graphite paint used in cell animation. Sadly its no longer manufactured nor is the company in business anymore. The advantage to the opaquing fluid was being that it was graphite you could put several coats of paint on and then buff them out to an almost black chrome finish which gave them a great look.

Cheers and again well done.
