I got a case in the mail today and it has a bunch of small nicks and scratches. Quite a few of them are in the inside.
Is there a way it can be cleaned up and repaired?

Thanks

Robert

you can try future floor wax. its pretty much liquid acrylic.

it may work, it might not, but its worth a shot.

there are also buffing/polishing compounds that may work. the only thing i am kinda hesistant about is the fact that some are on the inside. not sure how those would get fixed up...

Thanks,
I'll order some of Novus and see if it works.
Also there was some glue used to make a repair and it got on the glass and acrylic. I need to know what can be used to get the glue off.

Thanks
Robert

there is one way to get the glue off, and its quite risky

Sand the area down, then get a fine point flame nossle for a acetalyn*sp? torch. Get a blue flame and just light brush over that. Like I said, unless your are quite experienced, it is very hard to do...

I've done that to finish edges on acrylic with a regular propane torch. I imagine it would be trickier on facing.
