Yep yep, very nice. I made one out of a powerdrill but yours is much more screen accurate! My video is the first one listed after yours... :)

me and my girlfriend just rented this movie earlier tonight and i was thinking as i was watching i really want the body venturas minigun...

this is sweet

Several years ago, Steve Dymszo and I decided it would be “Cool” to have a replica of “Ole’ Painless” from “Predator”
As this was prior to the days of the internet…getting photos and research info was almost non-existent.
I even wrote to General Electric who, by the way, were kind enough to send us a brochure on the Mini-gun.
I was able to obtain original M60 handguard foregrips.
Steve totally scratchbuilt the rest!!! An amazing job by the self-proclaimed “Prop Demi-God”
Only two were ever made and I know Steve sold his several years ago as I saw it at a local gun show one day….I still have mine.

Yeah, I'm sure I came across these images when I decided to build mine. Yours is much closer to bothe the film (and the real) M134.
I hope I managed to do a reasonable job using the bits I had lying around the shop.

Very cool. I bookmarked the instructable, i'd have gotten the PDF but i don't use the site enough to pay a monthly fee lol.

Marshon, welcome. VERY COOL BUILD!!

Here is a link to an earlier RPF thread on the M134. I've built a couple of all metal, rotating props and they are shown in the thread, as well as Ed's beauty. I have a large file on real and prop miniguns. We rent out real miniguns at the range I co-own. Anyway, here is the link: http://www.therpf.com/f9/predator-ol-painless-76226/

Here is an even earlier link to an RPF thread on the movie minigun: http://www.therpf.com/f9/predator-minigun-setup-8188/

A friend of mine is a well known Hollywood armorer who helped build the screen used minigun and he helped me with mine, as did Ed. I have a ton of photos, backstories, etc. of the Predator gun if I can be of help.
