Whats up everybody ? i'm new to these forums and just was wondering if anybody on here would have any knowledge of the value of this shield. I received it after the movie came out and was certified that it was the one in the movie and autographed by the Rock. It was valued at $10,000 when i first got it and was curious of its current value. :confused I'll include pics. thank you for your help and info :thumbsup

When you say it was certified that it was used in the movie, you mean that it has paperwork accompanying it to verify it's authenticity?

I'm no expert at all but, even assuming that it is as you were told, I can't see it being valued at $10,000. I would have said about $2000 but many are much more familiar than I with such a prop.

I have owned many of these sheilds and have probable owned and sold more Mummy Returns props then anyone. I would say $500 tops on this piece. It is nice that it has the tail as these are missing or broke off of many of these style shields. Sorry to give you the bad news, but that is the low down.

I think Biker is right, and very very close in price. The shield with out signature is abut $300 to $350, for the one you have. The regular one is about $250

Hello, Biker is correct on the price for the shield; I own one myself and I bought it for $180.00 from Screen Used Props. Mine doesn't have a full tail but it does have the C.O.A and all the same, the shield itself is amazing. Nice piece you have there! :thumbsup

It might depend where it was signed, and I mean like what event. Because if he was still under contract with WWF/WWE he wouldnt be able to sign Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson because that wasn't his stage name. Unless the person requested him to sign it as " The Rock", but ya never know. Although I have his autograph on the book he put out while he was still in WWF/WWE and the autograph is pretty spot on.
