Scope for ANH E-11

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I'm working on a scratch built E-11, ANH style. Seems like there are several scopes that can be used on this. What's the most common one, and what's most readily available? Does anyone make a good resin version?

If any one can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

there is a chart that shows what parts went on what variation, there were lots throughout the OT.

this is a very cool site if youve neer been there.

Thanks. I did find that chart last night. I guess my real question is, out of the acceptable scopes, what is the easiest to get a hold of or replicate? It seems these go for a lot on eBay for real ones. Do resin copies come up from time to time?

I would go with an M19 or M32. That one would give you the most options. You can also keep it if you later on decide to convert the blaster into a ESB version.

While a resin M19/32 is pretty easy to come by, a real one is not and is pretty expensive if you do find it.

For ANH, I recommend getting a M38. The variation with the light (which you take off, of course :)), the M38a2 comes up pretty often. It looks similar but it isn't screen-accurate. I got one but then found a M38 and I got it for around $100 IIRC.

There is a real M38a2 on ebay right this moment as well as a resin M38. I know nothing about either seller, just pointing them out.

The M38 1942 style is the most common in ANH.
Cheapest real scope that's kinda close is the M38a2 that was mentioned. It's not screen accurate, but similar to the M38 1943 that MR used on their replica.
M32 (M19) is fairly common in ANH and also the only scope used in ESB.

I have resin M38's and a resin M32 in the Junkyard.
