Scooby Doo Fans, Where are you?

So as I was growing up, I loved anything and everything to do with Scooby Doo. My family constantly threw something Scooby related in with gifts for Christmas or birthdays and I've held onto a lot of it, although some has gotten lost or misplaced along the way. I never really gave much thought to value, until recently. It turns out I've got a few items that may actually be some pretty desirable collectibles.

Now my tastes have changed, and while I do have a soft spot for good ol' Scooby, I'm thinking it may be time to part with a few things...I'm just wondering if any fellow RPFers are into Scooby Doo stuff?

I did some searching last night and didn't see much mention of it, so before I go to the effort of digging through my stuff, I just wanted to know if its worth my time...

Rooooverrrr hereeeee, ha ha, sorry I couldn't resist. I've been a Doo fan since I was a kid, grew up watching it. Mostly the cartoon though, the OLD cartoon, not the new stuff they have out, though the first movie was OK I suppose.

PS, i love the mystery machine...so... id love to see what you have...

Of the Mystery Machine, I have two kind of unique items, neither of which I will part with just yet...one is the toothbrush holder in my bathroom, which I absolutely love. Also have a Scooby soapdish to go with it and shower curtain with little Scooby heads for clips. Luckily my wife loves them too, so they didn't get put away in favor of flowery things. The shower curtain is put away since we have a glass surround.

I also have a Mystery Machine shaped hatbox...kind of an oddball item. Its a nice thick cardboard I assume, all over design, held closed by a rope that threads through the side and goes across the top.

I'm going to take some pics of some of the stuff at some point this weekend. Most of it is little pieces. I know I have some older era stuff put away as well, just not sure where it is. Most of this stuff is cartoon network era.

My favorite is the animated talking phone. Just awesome. If you've never seen it, you"ll want it I promise...

And just to clarify, I'm a huge fan of the original cartoon. I can tolerate the new movies, and occasionally some of the new cartoons, although I totally flipped when I watched one and Shaggy and Velma were dating. Nothing is sacred :cry

I just got season one and two on DVD.

I didnt buy this.. but thought it was pretty cool.

DVD box set - the van is pretty good quality.

Love the classic show. I watched it with my older brother and sisters, way way back. My favorite collectible is a mystery machine cookie jar with Scoob hanging out one window, and Shaggy out the other. Found it years ago, at Hot Topic...which was a huge surprise.

I'd love to see pics of what you have.

Couldn't find where my wife hid her camera, so I just took a phone pic instead.

From Left:
Animated Phone
Winter Wonderdog box set (I have no idea where it came from...)
Halloween talking Scooby
Mystery Machine hatbox
Mystery Crew figures
(front) 18 piece train set
(under) throw rug

There is more, but some of it's put away. These are just the ones that stay out in my movie room. Nothing spectacular I guess, but some unusual...
