Evenin all. A few weeks ago I built the Bandai Falcon (awesome little kit by the way). Here it be

Anyways. I decided it deserved something decent to display it. So the hanger idea was born. I want it to look military. The frame is made of wood by my little bro. He's good with wood.

I brought two sheets of green and of of red clear tinted acrylic for the base then put a sheet of matt black fablon over with carefully trimmed deck markings.

A crisp high 5 to the first person who can name the ship the hangers (A clue. Tis not star Wars related). At Xmas i brought 200 LEDs so this will be one very well lit hanger. First up some LEDs were put under the deck

There will also be a control room overlooking the hanger and corridors too. Also I wanted add some depth to the diorama as well. So i've tried making a forced perspective tunnel on the back wall

This was the first attempt at the tunnel.

OK but not quite right so this is MK2
