Scammer , recaster warning : latest alias Loganprops, recent alias Snikt Shop

Re: Another recaster : latest alias Loganprops, recent alias Snikt Shop

but wouldn't you say its better to err on the side of caution?
yes I doubt they're trolling the forum but when someone gives people a "villain" its not a massive leap for an individual to send an email or make a phone call that starts the ball rolling and ends up hurting the whole community.
The way around those issues.....pay taxes on your earnings.....what? Unthinkable!:lol

Re: Another recaster : latest alias Loganprops, recent alias Snikt Shop

You might be surprised at how quickly he gets an audit. The IRS does them randomly and a complaint will often be all it takes to make his life miserable
But if you have noticed, many people have stepped up to say they sent payment to different paypal addresses.
He seems to be pilfering the money he receives through friend's Paypal accounts.
He knows how to cut the paper trail off from himself.
He will just play stupid.

Not really sure if you get the meaning of collateral damage?
-The IRS gets called on this guy - and by association the IRS has now gets to a host of u.s based prop builders that may or may not have declared their income on their radar and your excuse is well they should have paid their taxes not my problem.
Don't get me wrong I'm not based in the us and I don't sell props what I'm worried about is an escalation of the reporting to authorities that may affect the genuine prop builders of this community that provide unique products to us.

The plain simple fact is it is a law to claim your income and pay taxes on it. I freelance and get paid in numerous fashions. I claim all of the checks, cash, online, Paypal, as I should. I feel no sympathy for anyone who gets caught in crossfire with egg on their face for bucking the system and trying to get out of paying taxes on the money they earn. Plain and simple... If you get paid for making props, pay Uncle Sam.
Every item I sell here, runs through Paypal and I in turn send my paypal statement in with my taxes. So every cent earned through props, I gladly pay taxes on.

I don't think that there's an issue with accepting funds using someone else's paypal account with their permission. It does, however, put the Paypal account holder on the hook for the sale, along with any problems or illegality that arise from the sale. If somebody starts disputing and starting claims against the other person's Paypal account, you can bet your ass he would hear about it quick.

Re: Another recaster : latest alias Loganprops, recent alias Snikt Shop

Maybe because that account was called out here,
He realized his cover was blown on that account and decided to move on to another?
Or....
He realized as a new account, until he gets a certain amount of positive feedbacks, eBay will hold his funds for 21+ days until the customer receives the item and gives positive feedback. He cannot get their money and never ship the item, as eBay will hold it until the customer asks for it back.
He cannot scam money going that route. So he conned a friend to put their established account on the line. And now, he can scam all he wants and the blame will be on someone else and not him. He can play stupid and just wash his hands of the guilt by saying "that's not even my account", they used my photos to scam you. His friend is in for a hard lesson soon as to who he really is.

I did not realized that new account's fund are held for 21+ days.
I just thought that this was just a burn account for him.
It is also possible that a lead time of 6-8 weeks to build the item was promised to the auction winner.
So, there could be a delay to the feedback until then.

youcanttigatag.... RMX, remember that name? LOL, for those of you that weren't here for the show, that was the screen name of the RPF member defending Logan WAYYYY back in the first few pages of this thread. She was (unsurprisingly) banned a while ago. Fun stuff.

Youcanttigatag is his GF or ex-gf.... That is Jessica LG's instagram username.... Not sure if they are still dating or not...... I hope he doesnt screw her over... But unfortunately I can see it happening..

Yup. I believe that it her. But, I'm surprised anyone would let others sell on their acct. Unless its a profit sharing type arrangement.

Correct! And fraud.

Yes, she will be on the hook for any issues regarding the auction / transactions.
I hope its worth it to her.

I am curious as to why the urgency to sell through "youcanttigatag" proxy, so soon after the "theclawman" auctions ended.

This is circumventing paying taxes.
If you have 200 sales on one Paypal account and earn $20,000 or more, Paypal sends you tax forms and they forward copies to the IRS.
By "spreading out" the transactions across numerous accounts to make sure he never reaches the transaction minimum and the $20K minimum,
He is purposefully trying to fraud the government and not pay taxes.

Yep.... Until your new account hits a certain amount of positive transactions, they put a hold on funds.

My guess is that his funds from the first sale got held up, and he freaked especially if he needed the funds ASAP...
So he convinced his GF or EX GF to use her established account so he could get money immediately after the sale.

The IRS is not a bunch of dumb auditors (they may also use ex-fraudsters turned good guys/informants working for the agency), also they are in contact with other agencies around the world and especially their close allies: Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand and pour over books or professional magazines and revues of accounting firms talking about loopholes and ways to avoid the tax system.
Now it may take a few years to uncover and turn all the stones, but believe me they will!!

edit:
Opps, just a little too late.
jrenemtz321 :thumbsup. Just a little quicker than me.:)

And another of Loganprops's latest victum:
Heroes For Hire? No, Costumes For Sale

"From group: Heroes For Hire? No, Costumes For Sale!

So i know I'm not the only one who has been through this but this needs to be known about ordering from jim logan I wanted to buy a black muscle pattern dye sub not sown and Jim Logan quoted me for 200 dollars for the dye sub. so after a week i sent him the money i figured i send him a message for progress and i got no response and after a week later he messaged me about it saying "I'm already working on it" and so i gave him more time and then i asked for any progress and got no response. so i filed a paypal dispute and in minutes after he found out he responded saying about that "i already sent it out to the printer and i can't refund your money due to the fact that its a "custom print" and i won't be able to resell it so after all that i gave him more time seeing he said he would send it on December 19th and haven't got any word from him so this is just a warning to everyone on here proceed with caution when buying things from JIM LOGAN. Im sure many others here can vouch for me"

Since he claims to be doing something with nerdist I sent a Lil tweet over to hardwick, who knows if he's the one that's doing something with him, but it can't hurt.

The funny thing is on the heroes for hire page he's peddling his Cheshire cast for sale a few posts below it.

Love how mostly women are defending him :lol
It's like he has a spell on the ladies and he just cannot be a bad guy because he seems so sweet and cute :facepalm

You see this happen with older women. They meet the young guy who knows how to talk the talk and walk the walk, and he takes them for thousands.
