If I was a prop maker that supplied BiTS with stuff,
i would feel a bit nervous about where my props ends up and who's "borrowing" it.

I guess the saying is true. " Never trust a Hollywood type".

Nope. And I really doubt he's stopped making then for the general public, there's a pic with like 3 wonder woman chest pieces. I doubt he's got a bunch of professional companies buying the same suit.

A year later, and still belittling people who paid him more than a year ago for undelivered goods in the name of 'woah-is-me' crybaby pandering. Call somebody a pro client or a fan boy, guess I didn't think that their money (and your degree) of respect and commitment should vary.... Nice.

I agree. I think he is still accepting orders, but not making it public. The occasional "i only make stuff for professionals.." statement
is just smoke screen. If he was supplying professionals , I'm sure he would be out there shouting it to the world.
And based on the items pictured, i doubt any reputable professional would be using that stuff.

I think Winate's definitions of pro client is based on how much exposure the person gets:
If the person does charity events or birthday party : hey, he's a pro.
If its a person that occasionally attends cons, then, they are a fan boy.
But, i'm sure he will still take their money.

He seems to go through cycles of:
"woah is me", depression, "i'm on top of the world", can't sleep, cat pics , food pics and back to "woah is me".
If i didn't know any better, i would think its a sign of bio-polar.

This guy needs Pro-work alright, as in Psychiatric help for years to come:behave If I was assigned to his case, I would've already make plans to buy that expensive sport car and talking to my financial adviser to finally put a down payment on that fantastic property, with a view of the ocean, in Malibu!

As stated above... Pros are those who get big exposure and fan boys are just people who occasionally go to cons.
And he ALWAYS finishes the item and ships it when it goes to someone who gets his work shown in photos... But he stuffs every fanboy out of their money.
So yeah... He DOES only do the work for the pros and DOES NOT do the work for the average fan. He will take the fanboys money, but hey... At least he is being honest telling them that he won't DO THE WORK for them. :lol

I might have an explanation for that:
I was informed that Machinima has dropped sponsorship of BITS youtube channel. (for what ever reason is not known.)
That means $ is tight. So, Aaron is asking for free stuff for his vids.
And Winate is the only one gullible to continue to give stuff to BITS.
I think Lootcrate is the lone sponsor of BITS channel.
(it would be a shame if Lootcrate was informed of the unethical practices of BITS and their association with Winate.)
I think its a little bit of karma that BITS is taking advantage of WInate.

I would hardly consider Logan to be being taken advantage of. Those videos get millions of views. And there are actually a number of prop makers who provide them with items for free in return for credit.

This is one of those instances where "exposure" actually counts for something.

The items Logan had been able to publicly claim credit for in those videos were some of his most known, shared, sought after, and therefore profitable items. He got TONS of positive press. And made lots of money, even if it wasn't originally from BITS.

And it makes him look legitimate - BITS still has a massive fan base.
 
Don't misunderstand. Racer is not suggesting that anyone misunderstands the situation.

Racer was here from the start. The beauty of weighing out how the BITS story plays out really doesn't matter. Winant is a flawed guy. He's been a con, a manipulator, a lot of things...

I guess what has surprised me is, why hasn't he changed his venue? Get out of props (NEVERMIND all the **** about pro work/etc... I KNOW), why hasn't he just moved on to bartending, or bouncing, SERIOUSLY?

I know that he never knew all of this publicity would happen... Of course not. He finally admitted over 100 orders shy.

Then, much later, BITS keeps him around... Outside of the float of responsibility....

There is nothing complicated about any of this. DW owes a lot of people money. And honestly, at this point, if he stood up and said 'I WILL DO WHAT I CAN', it will not be much of a bandage, but it would be a start.

To clarify, I didn't forget when he ran his mouth about working for PROS...... I've been here since the start. He has never worked for the pros. He is a (very important thing to think about) a carnie that has been lucky enough to make connections. Through BITS, through Florida-to-CA.....

I remember reading about how he bitched about the haters while FLYING back and forth, just upset about how nobody appreciated his ****.

How many pages are we in? I stopped counting at 30. He won't change. He won't change until he's old, he runs out of gimmicks, and he's wearing a corduroy coat selling cars, or property, or insurance. And everybody? I'm not saying that to humor people here. I'm saying because he will read it (as rmx knows), and he will know I'm right.
 
Yes, he is getting exposure through BITS.
But i think it has reach a saturation point. Bits is definitely keeping their relationship on the peripheral. So far, not a full endorsement.
he will still get orders from the UN-informed, but hopefully, it will be a minimum.
Personally, i think anyone on the old buyers list is screwed. (sorry to those involved)
But potentially, he maybe sending out stuff to his new "pro" clients. At least they are getting what they paid for, for what its worth.
His meaning of "Pro" clients anyone that has posted a pic of them self in costume. Just checkout some recent "pro" clients via #loganprops.

Funny thing on his new page it still shows him located in sunny southern California....makes me wonder if I will run into him at the next local comic convention(Comikaze) here in a month or two.... I hope I do see him so I can give him my .02 personally or at least give others my .02 on him and how his "prop making abilities" /sarcasm
 
So I messaged Bat in the Sun regarding this ********* (for the second time) I informed them that I had heard that the FBI was actually investigating him and the they probably shouldn't deal with a thief.
 
I dont understand how people like him think they can get away with it. As if everyone will turn a blind eye to their thievery.
