I'm not sure if it is true, but my source tells me that David Eugene Winant Jr. aka Jim Logan,aka Logan Props, formerly Snikshop...
is working on a Captain America suit for the next episode of super power beat down by the Bat in the Sun group.
The next episode is to be Halo Master Chief vs Captain America.
Perhaps someone should let the people at Bats in the Sun know what type of person they are promoting and associating with.

To be totally honest, and I'm not taking up for him as to how he handles his business.... But a few of the things I have saw pics of, if he is actually doing the work..... Isn't bad work.... He just needs to get his business side in order..... A few apologies and "making things right# could go a long way with him..

I'm a new member here, just about to months now, but from what read in this thread that boat is long gone. I don't think there is a "making things right" option left for him. I don't like taking sides, and I look for the best in people but this seems an open and shut case to me.

Just my 2 cents

The issue has never been about his skill level or his cosplay activities.

It has ALL WAYS been about him recasting other people's work and not delivering products (mask, suits...)
to his customers after receiving their money.

He could makes things right by the people he's scammed, refunding or giving them stuff they payed for with a sincere apology,then stopping the recasting. I doubt those people will buy from him again but it would at least help towards showing he's taking his business seriously.

This is kind of what I was getting at..... His past will never leave him, but his future could turn around......

Dont get me wrong, I would never deal with him..... but that isn't my point.. lol...

I would say his transition away from "sniktshop" is complete now... He is using a new Email for his "friends" to email him at for quotes and work..... "Loganprops1@gmail.com"

I wonder how many Snikt customers will be left wondering where their order is at? He will probably use this re-branding as an excuse to wipe the slate clean if things he owes... He has done it in the past.

Unless he is dealing with them one by one through the Snikt email still, then I doubt it. It's just like you said, perfect excuse not to complete his old backlog 'because Marvel said he couldn't.'

this tool was at PCC? if i knew he was there, i'd have said something, i totally support everyone and their work on the rpf, this is such a wonderful place for ideas, support and just badassness,

one thing i'm tired of is people like this dude, especially at cons and the whole cosplay bull****, it's funny, a few superhero movies come out and people like this dude and the "booth babes" throw on a little costume made by someone else and they think their **** doesn't stink. sorry about the rant but these type of people that don't do any work, parade around and then cop an attitude thinking they are something special,

but hey you can take a piece of crap, throw it in a versace dress, but at the end of the day it's still a piece of crap.

was operating which shop.

Just FYI, He's at Long Beach Comic Con this weekend if anyone wants to come say hi to him in person. He's on Facebook under "Lonstermash" and has more than one raving review of how wonderful and giving he is to the cosplay community.

You should all go give him a like.

I do not think this is Jim Logan aka David Eugene Winant Jr.
This guy is another cosplayer.

But it is true , "Jim Logan" (i hate calling him this, because it is not his real name, so i am putting
it in quotations as to mark it as similar to a stage name) might be at the Long Beach Comic convention.

I am still very surprised that he still make public appearances and attends conventions.
With all the customers he has scammed out of their $; you know, they have relatives and friends everywhere.
And it would just take one public confrontation to blow up his image. And everyone has cellphones to
record the video.

I could see it now " Dead beat cosplay prop maker confronted be angry customers at convention!". see it on youtube!
And of course, it will go viral. Guarantee.

ahh. My mistake. I nabbed the wrong "@" link off the Twitter group he was tied to yesterday. He is indeed there, but you are correct, it's not Lonstermash. I'm headed back today, I'll see if I can dig up more info and if he's actively shilling his stuff.

I, new member here on the RPF. Question for you guys in the U.S (I reside in Canada where tax laws are different): what's the tax law in the U.S. regarding e-commerce (Ebay, Etsy, etc) I mean this guys is making money...does he declares all of it when comes tax time or not? Would it serve a purpose to say something to the IRS or is the IRS already checking those e-commerce sites already and making sure that Uncle Sam is paid in full?
