Sapper Morton helmet build

My google fu has failed me hard. Is the neck collar bit something you can purchase? I have a different helmet that requires a very similar looking accordion thing. I was thinking of making some loopy mould and casting the collar out of silicone. This fabric looks more breathable and comfortable though! Any help is appreciated!

Edit: oh my goodness that's extremely beautiful! Oh no, hope I didn't commit a faux pas and bump a dead post. I should have lurked longer
The material looks like it could be a nylon. You could use metal floral rings inside. That might be a simple option but would be very effective.

Ok so here's the finished helmet after assembly. I 3D printed the rings that go in the neck seal. I couldn't find material that matched what was used in the movie, I searched a lot for reference on that but no luck, maybe someone else knows on the forum?

The visor is 3mm petg formed over a buck which was 3d printed, moulded and cast with plaster.

Adam Savage’s video on your build sent me here. Amazing work! I would love to know how you created the neck seal bellow. My plan is to use 10inch floral rings and neoprene fabric (hoping that gives it the rubber illusion). My biggest concern is keeping the floral rings attached to the neoprene. Any tips?

Everything is custom-built for this helmet so the only thing you can buy is the neoprene fabric. :)

Thank you! So the neck rings are 3D printed and reduce in size and shape as they rise from the neck so they eventually change from a circle to more of an oval to fit the base of the helmet. I sewed in a piece of fabric to the interior that would fold over and attach to the ring to hold it in place. If you take the circumference of the ring, reduce it by a few inches so that way the material is nice and tight and you'll get more of the bellows look to it. Hope this helps!
