Samurai Vader Helmet

I think it looks cool but it's not something I would buy personally.

I just did some research on the net and found a place called The samurai store. They also have an Ebay store. They sell Samurai armor.They're having a winter bargain sale of 10% - 50% off. The prices are about the same as the 1/4 Vader samuari. These are full scale wearable armor made in the traditional manner. They even carry a repro of armor from The Last Samurai. I'm seriously considering purchasing something from them in the future. They can customize the armor too. It might be worth exploring if someone wanted a Samurai vader. The helmet and mask would need to be built. I'm thinking of using a face cast I have of myself and sculpt the Menpo.

I'll second the notion that it looks better on paper then in reality
but I think 50% of that is that its not being worn, its sitting low on itself

The mask alone would look really good in full size. Just different enough not to be noticable as a star wars piece at first. Always loved Japanese armour for it's artistic qualities, combined with star wars this would be a gorgeous piece to have.

the conecept art for the vader helmet is amazing and be well worth owning the helmet on it's own.

I think it's a very nice challenge.
If you want I can try sculpt this helmet in 1:4 scale.
