Can't wait to see your progress and the finished costume. I built a Gold Saint Shaka Virgo (using foam as well) back in 2006 which I wore to Anime Expo in Anaheim, CA (now held in Los Angeles, CA). It was my first attempt at making faux armor, but it was worth all the hard work.
