Hi guys just wanted to show this baby off lol Its dated 1900 or some where round that time. Went away for the week end to BLISTS HILL VICTORIAN TOWN! And saw this and thought I better get a picture to show you how I machine the emitters lol

CRAP ON A CRACKER! Now THAT'S a lathe! :confused

It's cool to see old machinery like that, and imagine what was made with it over the years... Kinda like that steam engine that Jay Leno installed in his garage recently. :)
 
I've seen an old one similar in size that was being used for turning decorative house columns for porches etc. It's older than the metal lathe I just picked up too... I just got an old Southbend lathe from my Grandfather with a 1923 casting date on it.
