I've got one of the hyperfirm (rubber) E-11 kits.

I've finally gotten around to cleaning it up so I can assemble it.

Rather than just leave it plain, I'm wondering if every one is painting their's?

Will the paint adhere to the rubber?

Thanks ;)

Hmmm...
I wasn't aware the we sold them in kit form
Interesting.

anyway, make sure you glue it together first ( use Cyanoacrylate, or "Super Glue")
then paint it using Semi-flat Black
Then do your weathering.
Gluing it together before painting makes the glue stick to the rubber , not the paint.
if you glue it to the paint, it''ll come apart.

I believe CE bought my E-11 Hyperfirm. I picked it up in a trade when John was selling them out of his trunk at the practice Episode 3 line at the Chinese Theater.
