RPF Ring? Not sure if this is a prop or not

I can't remember for sure, but did anyone ever make an RPF ring using the old style logo (WW2 style) of the man welding?

Or was this completely just wishful thinking on my part?

Somebody here did do a RPF logo of the style you mentioned
I sand etched it into a coffee mug for my self
even did a prototype of a RPF badge to wear at conventions
so we could identify each other, there never was an interest in the badge
then the thread vanished.

there was a watch with that logo also done, have one not sure where its at, cant remember the name of the maker either.

I would love to see the logo! I have a local clothing company thats done a lot of work for me in the past and can get almost anything made!

Oh, okay. I guess I dreamed it up. The image can be found in the "Remembering Wayne "Propreplicator" " thread.

It may be too detailed. Honestly, it probably wouldn't even need the lettering on it either. I can't remember who desinged that image, but that is one of the first images that has always come to my mind when I think of this place.

rhboyd!!!!! Yes. I remember when he first posted that image. That image would have made a good badge (mentioned above), patch, poster, etc.

When I first thought of the "decoder ring" , the first thing that popped in my head was a plastic Cracker Jack toy.

If it is okay to be done rhboyd, could a cast be done of one?

He did, a VERY small run. Like 3 or 4 rings.

And I like the idea of a decoder ring, or even a badge..cast in pewter or even cheap pot tin. Then we'd need a wallet for it like the bladerunner badge done years ago. Then possibly an engraved plastic card with screen info, etc.

I was thinking something very cheap as well, so everyone could get on board...

What exactly is pot tin?

Nevermind, I looked it up. Kinda like the material you would find rings made out of at a flea market.

That would go along with the RPF theme too. Not pristine, but hand made.
