How do categories work? If someone fits into multiple, does one trump the other, or are they judged under both?

I gave some thought to a last minute entry at 9pm last night, but M has got enough on his plate! My costume turned out pretty good but took a beating from trick-or-treating in the snow this year, and was no longer up to snuff for the RPF contest (IMO) :lol My daughter will be 13 next Halloween so I guess she'll have to join the forum and build her own costume (with a little guidance ;) ). Good luck everybody, the entries look awesome! :)

Entry is now closed. Went to bed a little early last night so there was a generous grace period. :lol

I'll go through and make one last check of all the entrants.

You only get to go into one category. New members is the only category that trumps the others.

We went through that transition this year - it is a true passing on of the torch. :D

How does one submit himself for entry in two categories? I'm only currently listed in the new members category but would also like to be considered for the Men's category as well. I ask because the rules state if you win in more than one category you are awarded the larger of the two prizes.

New members can only enter in the new members category. The "greater prize awarded" stipulation isn't for multiple categories, it's for winning the judged and the voted prizes in one category.

Unfortunately there was no image from you in the gallery or link to your thread here prior to the close date so that's why you were missed. Either of those and I would have noticed your entry and contacted you to help you complete the requirements.
