Round2 Acquires Star Wars License

I can see the market for old Bandai R2 and 3PO kits booming when the Eaton Landspeeder comes out...

Or the fake Bandai kits, like those marketed as "DROINS".

By the way - this is my new favourite fake Bandai kit available via your favourite Chinese web retailer.

I think Anthony Daniels' wrist is showing. Talk about attention to detail!

Ooo nice Tie Bomber.
Dear Round 2, my wish list ... 1/48 or 1/32 Y-wing pretty please... and a decent sized Sand Crawler.... while you're at it, retool the X-wing and fix it's under carriage, and finally a Darth Vader figure in Force choking pose, thank you.

Newest Maker has said that his files are the ones they used for the tie bomber. Previously he has sold the stl files for printing.

StevenBills posted these on Starship Modeller via John Simmons' FB page:

I wonder if that is a print or an actual test shot?
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The decades of waiting look to be rewarded handsomely! I can take down my Hasbro/Kenner 4" figure ship and finally have a true model with tight details put in it's place. Which means me and the grandsons can actually PLAY with the Hasbro Bomber!

Would prefer to come with a comment which contains some news, but I just wanna kindly ask if someone has a straight tip for me where to shop for latest AMT/R2 kits on Manhattan or Long island NY. Bit disappointed I couldn't find anything in San Fran. There's maybe a shop in Berkeley but bit too much Outer Rim.
I know R2 lists since sellers on their website but would prefer some solid info by anybody who knows the real offers on location.
But every hint appreciated

For Manhattan, I’d add;

The Red Caboose
23 W 45th St
New York, NY 10036
United States
+1 (212) 575-0155

The best hobby shop on Long Island is BayShore Hobbies, on Sunrise Hwy at the corner of Saxon Ave, in the Kohls shopping center, in Islip. It’s amazing! And if you don’t find what you’re looking for, the owner, Bob will try his best to get it for you.

Awesome! Thanks for the tips! I'll check out Caboose and Bayshore is just 15 mins away from my location and looks promising. The shop list could need an update I reckon. The listed Hobby company in SF seems closed permanently. I've been in two Target stores but no model kits at all. Just got lucky with the re-release of the Falcon today in a Japantown hobby shop in SF. Decent 73$
