Does anyone know what the deal is with the Enterprise Phase Pistol electronics kit from Roddenberry.com? The site has said its backordered for over a year. Is there anyone else who makes a electronics kit with lights and sound? I have a Roddenberry Phase Pistol but dont want to put it together until I install electronics.

Roddenberry has been notorious for having items on backorder for extended periods. I would recommend shooting them an email and seeing if they can give you any additional information. Otherwise, maybe consult with one of our resident electronic gurus to see if anybody makes them?

If no one else is offering up a kit I might be entertained to do a run if there is enough interest to make it justifiable... As 'Trek' isn't my thing though I would need input of the 'effect' and the sounds needed to bring it to life, as well as input on fitment... This is not something I would be able to tackle until likely June/July as my calendar is pretty full until then...
