Yeah, I don't mind that it's not popular. Robocop was my favorte movie character as a kid. Will be nice to actually see what it feels like to be in that costume. I was actually thinking about doing the full look without the helmet. Not overly detailed but enough to say " wow, that's a nice touch."Well first off I have to reply to your first post about classic robo cop not being popular. Who cares man your work is so good I am all the way with you on it!!!mainly cause I am old enough to not call it classic, it's just Robocop to me
Looking forward to how this turns out. You should shave your head and go for helmet off too
Tom.
will definitely keep an eye on thisGreat to see some more robocop builds out there!
If you're thinking of doing the gun leg, I built mine with enough extra room for the gun, but I ran out of time and wasn't able to get the hinge and everything set up in time for halloween. It fit in there perfectly, and you really couldn't tell that the leg was any wider...I'm 6'4" though, so I can add a little width to the legs without it affecting the proportions too much![]()
If you'd like a helmet. I'll do a run at some point for sure.If you ever put it on the junkyard...
"I'd buy that for a dollar"
Great job, massive fan of your work and the movie. I am cringing at the thought of the re-boot, but fingers crossed.
dead or alive looks badass
Im new here and its great to see other people big into the vintage RoboCop. I to am working on making a suit. I just bought the helmet off of ebay. I just reciever it two days ago and let me tell you the quailty is very good. I was suprized how detailed it was. For all i know it could of come from someone on this website. I have commisioned the chest peice to be made. I do automotive body work so i will be finishing it. The legs and arms i might make myself, just not sure if my landlord would put up with the smell of fiberglass. I will put pictures as soon as im started. If anyone has any Robocop peices to sell please feel free to email me.
Peace!
