That is both awesome and sad at the same time. Awesome --- film industry-- now your talent will receive the due exposure and subsequent recognition. Plus I'm sure new skills will be added to your arsenal. Sad -- coz the rpf just lost (temporarily) an active member, contributor,mentor, inspiration. But I guess when you get the chance to be active again you will enrich the forum even more with what you learned and experienced. Good luck man. Keep us updated whenever you can.
I've been thinking of laying off a bit on my administrative work (I am an elementary school principal and we own the school) because i want to get back on more creative work (haven't written a musical play in a while-- writing two local comic books but it's a bit slow-- and I want to get back to theater acting, this time musical theater plus play bit parts (character acting) on tv ads and indie films -- currently writing the script for my elaborate audition script and video sampler involving the type of characters I can play - think multiple versions of me shot in green screen).
