Robocop Auto9 - Toy Conversion / build up

Hello Guys and Gals,

Well, whilst out shopping today, i came across this little beauty, a toy version of the Robocop Auto 9.

Its farily accurate, i think, all i need to do is get rid of a few seam lines, prime it and paint it, then ta-da.......I've got myself a new replica.

Best bit is, all this for £5!!!

What do you think???

I use to have one of those. If memory serves me, it's undersized by quite a bit. Still, looks good painted up

It's amazing what a lick of paint can do!!!

Total cost £5 - This includes buying a rattle can of black paint!!!

It may be slightly undersized, but for the money and effort i think it is a great addition to my prop display, and it fits nicely in my display area!!

I think I'm wishing we could get those here in the States, especially since the Air Soft replicas of the Auto 9 are getting harder to find, and therefore MORE EXPENSIVE.

They are availble here in the states. I tend to see them at dollar stores and flea markets from time to time. I also see tons of springer Auto-9s at flea markets.

I used to have the KSC Auto 9c. The "c" was the latest version with the 3 round burst. I sold it however. I miss it and need to add it back to my collection. Just like the KSC m93r, it performed perfectly. The 3 round burst on green gas was awesome.

Yours looks pretty good for a display piece.

Poundland.....of all places!!!!

Came as part of a set for the kids, with cop badge, headset etc etc. Once i bought it i had a real hard time getting back from my 3 year old, and i went back the following day to buy him one of his own, but they had sold out. The gun sets dont last long in poundland!!!

I'll keep my eye open for more.

Poundland do some really great guns etc, ideal for toy conversions.
