ALMOST DONE!! for today costume contest!!! i need to do just the hands (with light), neck seal (vinyl straps) and...some details that i noticed on friday and saturday.
In the contest on friday i was beated by "the predator" cuz i did'n have my helm (was @ my home cuz the hinges weren't ready) and yesterday i did'n get on time to the custome contest, but today!! i gotta win!!!! hope so =D

By the way I know every one is busy doing there thing.... by chance is there anyway someone could change robo's pep files over to a pdf file ? ( If that all right with you ROBO..) I want to build the armor really bad.... but I can't seam to find any program that will open a pdo file with out slowing my computer down or picking up a virus that take me forever to get ride of. So if there is any one that could help a fellow builder out, I would greatly appreciate it ! Oh ya and in doing so I will make sure you get mad prop's on helping me out....... THANKS!!

you should try the Pepakura viewer application that Tamasoft offers for free (!) on their website. If you look closely you will find the link to Pepakura in the very first post in the official pepakura thread at the top of this forum

To speed things up for you, here is the official link. Shouldnt be any virus's from here, thousands of people have downloaded with no problems.

Click the "download" link on the left, scroll down to VIEWER FREE, download, and roberts your mothers brother!!

Im using alienware, and even that struggles when ya zoom right in. Its just one of those things buddy.

Here are a couple pics of the finished product, once I upload some more I will put them out.
BTW, I'm 5'11", 200lbs, 11.5 shoe size, and the only piece I needed to customize was the cod piece.

I really wanna thank all you guys for the help/inspiration. Any time I couldn't think of how to do something one of you had covered it on here.

My only downfall, I didn't use mesh on everything.... in hindsight... mesh everything... I had a few rips/tears in places because there wasn't any mesh... but, it still withstood me dancing at a bar for a couple hours... minor repairs needed.

Hey drifter. I too am an apple only guy. I boot xp through parallels and run it in coherence mode so that I only see stupid windows apps that I'm running... Namely pepakura designer and viewer.

Out of curiosity, can anyone (Especially Robo) tell me if the only real difference between the right and left bicep is the armpit notch being on one side or another?

I plan on working towards casting my IM suit anyway, so if that's the only difference, I'll just make one master with no notch, mold it, and cut the notch into the casting.
