Rob Zombie's a prop collector

Re: Rob Zombie's a prop collector

Ahhh, you must be talking about that Rob Zombie Cartoon, yea, it sucked big time, I've never not liked his music or writing/directing until that movie, which made me hate both.

I actually hate how that movie tried so hard to be a retarded version of Heavy Metal.

Re: Rob Zombie's a prop collector

Zombie's Bear came from Ellis props and not used in the Adams Family, it was part of their taxidermy collection.

Well it's good that he has a hobby cause he sucks as a director/writer

Fyfe I think you're a pretty cool guy, and I hate to call you out, but what's up with the pot shot? The thread isn't about his career. It's about his collection habits. Besides- Love and Hate is subjective.

Re: Rob Zombie's a prop collector

Here is another original ADDAMS TV prop in my collection that I hope you enjoy.

This is the original "primary" ADDAMS Iron Maiden, the one they used most of the time. I have the "secondary" Maiden also, but don't have a pic handy. The second Maiden was also used in the dismal HALLOWEEN WITH THE ADDAMS FAMILY '70s TV reunion movie, and also the 1960s film CHAMBER OF HORRORS. It is similar in look, but the front opens forward, like twin doors. This one splits in half, like an egg...

Needless to say, I have Addams on the brain. BTW, go see the Broadway musical- it is fabulous (and I'm a tough critic).

I have never seen the RZ cribs episode, going to have to check that one out.

The train set used, I know the transformer was a Lionel ZW transformer (I have one myself). The trains could have been, most likely, also Lionel. 0 scale.

Re: Rob Zombie's a prop collector

I don't know any technical info about the train. I assumed (like Akira said) it was Lionel "O" scale, and I believe belonged to someone in production. As I recall.

I know most of the train footage and the classic crash/explosion is (for the most part) the same stock footage- filmed once or twice, then reused over and over.
