RIP Macho Man

My parents got to meet him waaaaay back when and said he was really nice. A definite pioneer in the wrestling/sports entertainment world. I always enjoyed his matches. Makes me wanna grab some of my Wrestlemania videos and watch him win the heavyweight title. A great man and a true entertainer.

RIP Macho Man

By all accounts, he was a great guy out of the ring. Lots of his colleagues have commented on how stunning his death was. He had just remarried a year ago as well.

We can thank Macho Man for aborting the rapture, eh? :D

This makes me very sad to hear. I loved watching the Macho Man! So glad I had the pleasure of seeing him and Hogan wrestle in person. I miss those days of wrestling. Many a fond memory watching him. RIP Macho Man....Ohhhhhh YEAH!

I used to be a HUGE wrestling fan back in the 80's and early 90's. My favorites were Macho Man, Roddy Piper and the Ultimate Warrior. I think any of those would make a killer lifesize statue!!

I saw the Macho Man live on numerous occassions. Each time he gave a great performance; a true marksman of his craft.

I looked at the foxnews link about his death and it had a slide show about all the wrestlers who died. Captain Lou seemed to be the only one to get a long run in life.

There's certainly been quite a few notable ones for fans that have watched over the years... Junkyard Dog, Andre the Giant, Big John Studd, Adrian Adonis, Road Warrior Hawk, Kerry Von Erich, Davey Boy Smith, Miss Elizabeth, Hercules Hernandez, Mr Perfect, Bam Bam Bigelow, Big Bossman, Earthquake... and those are just some of the main WWF ones!
