Hello ALL! This is a build thread for my Rey costume! And to start I wanted to give a big thanks to the TheLadyNerd for starting her thread { Rey - Star Wars: The Force Awakens Build (open for everyone!) } And of course to everyone who posted on it, it was so helpful!! So after a month of reading all 60 + pages of that thread, seeing the movie 6 + times, and of course just a bunch of research, we have started my costume! So here it goes.

I just received my Po-Zu boots!!! And they are awesome!!

I agree and not only because I am funding this build but my Daughter is an incredible seamstress, and she is at this moment working on the Wrap cloth, since we just got home from watching the film for the I don't know 10- 12 time, we love it!!!! Dad is working on his own Costume and ...........BB-8!!!!
After all Rey can't run around without BB-8.......... Love you HannaH......

That was so ******* cool my daughter and I are freaking out!! I will start a Build thread on the RPF so we don't steal my daughters Rey Thread!!!

Thank you TheLadyNerd!! I have been ironing creases { for the wrap } for a while now so, more photos coming soon!! And I know I already said this in my first post but thank you, thank you, thank you soo much for starting your thread you have no idea how awesome its been!!

Oh and don't worry you'll finish your costume and it will be awesome!!

Got my arm wrap yesterday!! Thanks to Summoner Leo who found it and lives in the UK, and got some. But you can't get the brand she found except if you live in the UK so we bought a different brand on Amazon.


We dyed it last night photos coming soon!!

Omg, the last three seconds of that video are SOLID GOLD. :lol First time I've legitimately laughed out loud in weeks.

Glad you finally got your staff!! I apologize for dropping the ball last month, but I hope you enjoy your kit! You and her both look quite happy with how it came together (although the young lad obviously isn't)
