Revell Easy Kit Y-Wing

I picked up one of these from a UK seller on e-bay for a decent price and put it together today. A little weathering and she cam out nice. Is this kit based off the Fine Molds or Code 3 like their X-wing appears to be?

It's my understanding the Revell Germany Star Wars kits are based on reference materials provided by Lucasfilms. Unfortunately, they were given the same reference materials as AMT back in the 70's, which is why the RG and AMT kits are so similar and contain many of the same inaccuracies when compared to the filming models--inaccuracies which RG was not allowed to correct because of their agreement with Lucasfilms.

You build-up shows what these kits can look like with a little extra effort. Nice work! :thumbsup

Just a few days ago I stood before the whole line of Revell kits pondering whether to buy or not. I decided against buying one, since the only kit I will be building in the future has to be (!) a studio scale model kit. Don´t know when and what, but I know I will Although of all kits, the Revell AT-AT kinda has its appeal to me, especially combined with a MicroMachines snowspeeder :\

Correct! A built in iSight camera on my iMac.
