Resin curing?

Hey guys I was wondering if applying acrylic paint to resin takes it longer to cure?

Water and resin don't play well together. (foamy mess)
You need dyes made for mixing with resin.

If you are referring to applying after the resin has cured then there isn't a problem.
Best to lay down some primer after it has been given a proper bath in warm water with a mild detergent (DAWN is good for this)

Garage kit builders (figures and monsters) mainly use acrylic paints.
